This is a fairly easy pattern to follow. I added flowers on some of the slippers I made for my grandchildren.
These will probably fit a child age 4-5. Approximate sole length when finished 6”
Needle size 7mm
Using two strands of yarn (Red Heart Super Saver works well) cast on 33
stitches
Row 1: Purl
Row 2: Inc. 1 st. K.14, inc. 1 st., K.1, inc 1 st., K.14
inc., 1 st.
Row 3: Purl (37 stitches)
Row 4: Inc. 1 st., K.16, inc. 1 st., K.1, inc 1 st., K.16,
inc. 1 st.
Row 5: Knit (41 stitches)
Row 6: Purl
Row 7: Knit
Row 8: K.18, sl. 1 K.1 psso (pass slip stitch over), K1, K2
tog, K.18
Row 9: P.17, p2 tog., P.1, p2 tog., P.17
Row 10: P.16, p2 tog., P.1, p2 tog., P.16
Row 11: K.15, sl. 1 K.1 psso (pass slip stitch over), K1, K2
tog, K.15
Row 12: P.14, p2 tog., P.1, p2 tog., P.14
Row 13: K.13, sl. 1 K.1 psso (pass slip stitch over), K1, K2

Cast off and sew back, then bottom/sole
For flowers:
I used 3.25mm needles
Cast on 60 stitches
Row 1: K.1, cast off 8 stitches (repeat)
Cut yarn and put through remaining 12 stitches, pull tight
to make a daisy and fasten.
Flower middle (or you could sew a button in the middle of
the flower)
Cast on 1 stitch
Row 1: K1, P1, K1, P1, K1 in same stitch
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Purl 2 tog. P1, P. 2 tog.
Row 5: Sl 1, K2 tog. psso.
Fasten off and sew
both flower and center on to the slipper.
