Knitted Newborn Santa Hat - Free pattern

Row 2: Purl
Row 3: K7 skp Repeat to end
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: K6 skp Repeat to end
Row 6: Purl
Row 7: K5 skp Repeat to end
Row 8: Purl

Row 11: K3 skp Repeat to end
Row 12: Purl
Row 13: K2 skp Repeat to end
Row 14: Purl
Row 15: K1 skp Repeat to end
Row 16: Purl two stitches together – repeat

Leaving a long tail, cut yarn and pull through stitches, pull tight and sew the back together.

Crochet bobble - white:
Row 1: 6 sc in circle – pull tight
Row 2: 2 sc in each stitch around (12 stitches)
Row 3: Sc, 2sc in next stitch (repeat)
Row 4: Sc in next two stitches, 2 sc in next stitch – repeat (24)

This should be enough for a small bobble but depends on the thickness of the yarn

If you need to add another row, Sc in next three stitches, 2 sc in next stitch - repeat

Leave a long tail and gather through each stitch. Stuff lightly and pull tail to tighten bobble.

You could also use a ready made bobble.
